Khalid, aka “Phillip Morris”, one of the protagonists of the film who now resides with his family in Minnesota, attended our second Minnesota screening of ‘The Interpreters’ in the small town of Winona. ¬†After two screenings and Q&A’s with Khalid, his son Shaheen and his nephew “Andy Garcia”, we were notified by the festival that the film was awarded the Best Documentary Feature prize by their jury.

Thanks to the Frozen River team for a wonderful weekend.
