Finalist for South Asian screenwriting lab 1497

My screenplay “The Ones We Left Behind” has been chosen as a finalist for the screenwriting lab 1497. It’s one of eleven scripts chosen from a field of 382 submissions, and now three projects will be chosen to actually take part in the lab itself. The mentors include Gurinder Chadha (Bend it Like Beckham), Aneesh Chaganty (Searching) and Maryam Keshavarz (Circumstance). Fingers crossed!
