‘The Interpreters’ at the Emmy’s

It was not quite how we imagined our big Emmy moment last month. ‘The Interpreters’ was nominated in the News & Documentary category (Outstanding Documentary on Government & Politics) but due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, of course it was conducted remotely. I sat in my apartment in front of a computer, patched into the live awards show via Skype. Ultimately we didn’t get the award this time out. The honor went to ‘The Silence of Others’ — a truly outstanding film. It was an honor to be in their company, and the company of the other impressive nominees.
