'The Dickumentary' World Premiere at Atlanta Film Festival

'The Dickumentary' has been unfurled upon the world, 9 days before its DVD/VOD release nationwide, at the Atlanta Film Festival.  It was a revelation for me to watch it with a large audience -- getting for the first time to see how viewers respond to the sometimes over-the-top, other times subtle, humor that permeates the film. The response was great, and during the Q&A it became clear that people definitely appreciated the light tone; however, they were also engaged by the information, and appreciated how deep we went (pun intended).  During the editing it was a constant struggle to ensure that the film provided historical and scientific detail that has been sorely lacking in other penis-themed films, while staying entertaining.  There are no lack of books that would give a reader the kind of broad scope on the subject that we pushed for with 'The Dickumentary'.  But no films.  Which is why I'm saying in all my interviews that it is the definitive penis film.  (at least until someone goes deeper...)
