'Timeshifters' wins Fusion Doc Challenge at Slamdance
The film we made in 5 days for the Fusion Doc Challenge was awarded Fusion Best Film at the 2016 Slamdance Film Festival. We were selected out of several hundred films, along with 11 others, to screen at Slamdance on January 24, 2016. Of these 12, ours was chosen by the Fusion Network as the Best Film, and given a cash award. We were honored to receive this distinction. The other films in the program were excellent and tackled many important issues. We felt that ours, a history of the VHS, felt somewhat irrelevant by comparison. But we were pleasantly surprised when the award was announced. The 5 days we spent making the film was rewarded with 5 days spent hanging out in Park City amidst the bustle of creativity known as Sundance and Slamdance. It's a trip we'll never forget.'Timeshifters' will now appear on the Fusion Network, and we will post it soon to our website. This is a short article & interview about the film:http://www.audnews.com/presenting-winner-of-best-fusion-film-in-the-fusion-doc-challenge-filmmaker-sofian-khan-and-timeshifters/
