'The Interpreters' screens at The Little Theater
Last week, we had our first community screening in partnership with No One Left Behind -- the not-for-profit veterans group dedicated to helping Afghan and Iraqi interpreters resettle in the U.S. The screening took place at the Little Theater in Rochester, New York, on September 26th, and included a Q&A afterwards with co-director/cinematographer Sofian Khan, No One Left Behind's head of the Rochester Chapter Ellen Smith, and an Afghan interpreter who initially resettled in Rochester nicknamed Hash. We had an engaging Q&A after the film played to an almost full house. Now we're looking forward to more screenings like this around the country as the film makes its way to festival and community screening audiences.
