‘An Act of Worship’ at the HotDocs Forum

We had the opportunity to take part in the HotDocs with ‘An Act of Worship’ (feature). Of course this year it took place virtually, which presented its own challenges, but on the whole it was a very positive experience. Director Nausheen Dadabhoy and Producer Heba Elorbany did the pitch and Q&A session, with an intro from Chi-hui Yang from Ford Foundation, which has been the major funder for the project. The response was positive overall, and Charlotte Cook from Field of Vision announced they would give the project a grant of 30k, which will go a long way towards post-production finishing.
